Derinkuyu Underground City

Today’s tour we start with a Spectacular View over Goreme from Esentepe, here you will see a complete view of Goreme Valley and Village consisting of Fairy Chimneys, Rock formations and Cave Houses. We continue our drive to the Derinkuyu Underground City, this City is one of the best preserved settlements in Cappadocia, the excavated depth is approximately 85m and as well as containing the usual Refectories, Church’s and Wineries it has a large room on the second floor that was a Missionary School with Study rooms.

Ihlara Valley and Melendez River

Proceed to the Famous Ihlara Valley, The gorge is 16km long and both sides are lined with Rock carved Churches and Houses, our leisurely walk is 4km along the River deep in the Valley where you are free to explore the Hidden Churches. At the end of the walk lunch is served at a quaint Restaurant in Belisirma Village on the River. On route back to Cappadocia we visit the Selime Monastery which was carved out of Rock by the Christian Monks in the 13 th century, the size of this Church is truly astonishing. We will stop briefly at Yaprakhisar Panoramic Point for another view of this great Monastery (This is also the spot where the famous Star wars Movie was shot)

Die heutige Tour beginnt mit einem spektakulären Blick über Goreme von Esentepe, hier sehen Sie einen kompletten Blick auf das Göreme Tal und das Dorf der Feenkamine, Felsformationen und Höhlenhäuser. Wir fahren weiter zur Unterirdischen Stadt Derinkuyu, diese Stadt ist eine der am besten erhaltenen Siedlungen in Kappadokien, die Ausgrabungstiefe beträgt ca. 85 m und enthält auch die üblichen Refektorien, Kirchen und Weingüter. war eine Missionsschule mit Studierzimmern.
Ihlara Valley und Melendez River

Weiter geht es zum berühmten Ihlara-Tal. Die Schlucht ist 16 km lang und auf beiden Seiten sind Felsenkirchen und -häuser gesäumt. Unser gemütlicher Spaziergang führt 4 km entlang des Flusses. Restaurant in Belisirma Village am Fluss. Auf dem Weg zurück nach Kappadokien besuchten wir im 13. Jahrhundert das Kloster Selime, die Größe dieser Kirche ist wirklich erstaunlich. Wir werden kurz am Yaprakhisar Panoramic Point anhalten, um einen anderen Blick auf dieses großartige Kloster zu werfen (Dies ist auch der Ort, an dem der berühmte Star Wars Film gedreht wurde)
